Carmel Health distribution center had previously utilized an inefficient pallet rack and stationary shelving system for storage and a separate distribution department filling orders. Mt. Carmel wanted to double their order processing capabilities, improve control, and reduce labor costs. Solution: Diamond Phoenix designed and integrated an order processing system featuring DiamondWare™ interface software, 4 carousel units, and an ergonomic Diamond workstation, 2 vertical light trees and a sortation light bar at each picking pod.
