Challenge: When Hallmark Cards, Inc. decided to consolidate its 226,000 s.f. Kansas City facility, space maangement became a primary concern. Solution: Their solution was an automated carousel system developed by Diamond Phoenix, which included state-of-the-art carousels and conveyors, ergonomic operator workstations, advanced carousel controls and software, bar code scanners, and carton tracking and routing capabilities.

Benefits: As Hallmark's automated carousel system came on-line, it has served as a vital part of their distribution network. The system and its controls provide the flexibility to handle a wide variety of order types and profiles.
