FasTree™ Vertical Light Display Module
Configurable with Diamond Horizontal Carousels
Used in conjunction with Diamond Horizontal Carousels in high speed order picking systems, our vertical display modules provide clear operator task direction enhancing accuracy, efficiency and speed of comprehension while reducing operator tasks and increasing system pick rates.
Simplicity
- Displays can be added simply by connecting power and communication cable to the previous display, and setting the display address.
- A single RS-485 line connects one device to another in the Diamond Phoenix carousel pod. Thsi simplifieds controls wiring and sytem debugging.
- The same display module can be used for both the vertical Diamond FasTree™ and the horizontal Diamond SpeedBar™ configurations.
Configurability
- 8- and 12-digit alphanumeric display modules are the same size, fit into the same housing, and can be used together on the same FasTree™ configuration.
- Each configuration can house up to 24 displays supported by 1 power supply. With a second power supply up to 48 displays can be supported on a single tree.
High Visibility
- Bright green LED (dot matrix) displays provide unmatched contrast and clarity.
Adjustability
- Displays are infinitely adjustable and can be mounted on 3" centers.
- No tools are required to disassemble a tree or adjust the position of the displays.
- Housings disassemble with hand-turned clips in seconds.
- Additional displays can be easily wired in by hand with phone-style snap connectors.
Network
- Each display is individually addressed by non-volatile rotary switches, easily accessed on the back of hte display. 255 devices can reside on a single network.
- 24V AC power and RS-485 communications are daisy-chained from display to display using simple snap-in connectors.
- Diamond FasTrees™ can support communications up to 19,200 baud for quick LAN response.
- Display input ports can be customized to add various inputs and provide data updates to the pod network.
Maintenance
- Displays are easily accessible for maintenance or replacement.
- Displays can be bypassed electronically in seconds through exclusive error handling and software diagnostics.
- System is shipped complete with configuration and testing software.
